Afternoon all, tonight for dinner hot dogs on the grill. Lazy day here. First Sunday in three weeks we didn't have cleanup or tree debris removal to do.
Last night for dinner, frozen pizzas since my son won his first football game. Woo Hoo!!! Tommorrow for dinner something fabulous as the kids finally go back to school.
Guess "lazy-days" are going around! I'm barely getting into the shower and I started going there this AM!! The weather is perfect..big huge, puffy clouds in the sky and about 80 degrees. Other then taking the dog for his morning walk I haven't done squat! Is that bad or good? I've read another 50 pages in my book and am now trying to get into the shower. It's not far away, maybe a couple of doors away....sigh....lazy days!
Finally decided on grilled chicken breast strips over bow tie pasta mixed with peas and julienne carrots, tossed with just a tad of cream of chicken soup. If there is room, perhaps a small hot fudge sundae with whipped cream for dessert
MTH-really needs it with all she and family have been thru.
Thanks for the thoughts. Life is hopefully going to be back to semi normal tommorrow with the kids going back to school. It still is weird knowing that all the fun places we liked to go and take the kids are wiped out. Kinda surreal in a way. We are so blessed that home was undamaged but knowing that so many people I go to church with, kids that my children go to school with no longer have homes is hard. Makes me feel selfish for taking a lazy day ya know. But we are now Texans so we soldier on....
Thank you for the warm wishes and welcome back everyone. MTH - I'm so sorry you've had a rough time. You will be in my prayers.
I was supposed to make chicken alfredo friday night...but it didnt happen so I was going to make it last night...didn't happen then....do you guys think I can still make the chicken tonight if I took it out Friday?
It should be ok right?
