PITTSBURGH (AP) — A Pittsburgh man has been accused of cutting a line waiting to get free cakes from the Cake Boss and stealing four of them.
Hundreds of people were waiting Tuesday morning in downtown Pittsburgh to get the free cakes from the star of the Hoboken, N.J.-based TV show "Cake Boss," Buddy Valastro.
Just because you are giving something for free to a particular person (in the case of the news story, the people waiting in the line), doesn't mean that anyone who wants to can run up and grab the free thing from where you're storing it.
For example, if I'm giving a box of stuff away on Craigslist and someone comes in and steals it from me before that person can get it, it's still stolen even if I was planning to give it for free to a particular person.
