I guess I must not be too good at this, but what is the EASIEST way to correctly place a frozen pizza on the oven rack without having some of the toppings go over the edge of the pizza itself? I am careful to move the oven rack all the way forward in the oven before placing it in, but it ends up being a messy endeavor.

I know what you mean and getting out is even worse. What I've done that seems to work pretty well is to place the pizza on a cookie sheet. One of the ones with no sides. Then I put it on the edge of the oven rack and just slide the pizza off of the cookie sheet and onto the rack. Then to get it out, I use the cookie sheet on the rack next to the pizza, and use a spatula to carefully slide the pizza back onto the cookie sheets.
Put it first on a big plate then slowly slide on the rack.
Yes, some sort of cookie sheet will work great ( or just a piece of aluminium foil ), but the best is a simple pizza stone .
It heats/bakes the pizza evenly.

Yes, those work great. I've got one put I never bother to use it for a quick frozen pizza, especially when the directions say to cook it directly on the oven rack. I don't actually cook pizza on a cookie sheet, I simply use it as an easy way transfer the frozen pizza on and off the oven rack.
You need a pizza peel. It is like a wooden board with a handle, designed to maneuver pizzas in and out of the oven. It is intended for fresh pizza but I don't see why you couldn't use it for frozen pizza.

The directions on this one said do not use a cookie sheet or pizza stone. I did not know you can use aluminum foil in the oven by itself. I tend to only use it on cookie sheets.

Thanks, I will look into that. I think my concern with the transferring was the extra mess/cleanup as the initial product is obviously a raw uncooked product.
They sell pizza pans at like WalMart or any store like that. It has homes all in the bottom so the crust cooks good. Just slide the frozen pizza on it and cook. You can then use a pizza cutter on it when done and no mess.
A pizza peel or large round metal spatula (like a cake lifter) will do the job.
