When you approach the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and breathe in the aroma of chocolate
milk.

When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air is filled with the
pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying.

The veggie department features the sound of a gentle breeze and the smell of fresh buttered corn.

I don't buy toilet paper there any more.

That's funny right there!!!

Well I'm not a vegetarian or a peta follower and believe that these animals were put here for out nouishment. That's quite a political statement, really heavy for the food forum

Animals were not put on earth for people to eat. Plants were. If one follows the bible*, it shows in there that man was supposed to be the guardian of the animals, he wasn't supposed to eat them.
So one guy had a moment of weakness and ruined it for all the sweet furry animals.
(yes, it was a guy, probably the same guy that invented the barbecue)

*and i'm not one

Well, the Bible does NOT speak against killing animals for food, but DOES speak against abusing or mistreating animals.

Proverbs 12:27

"The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious."

But I did like your answer

Sheesh, who would have thought the food forum would be so debatable? I'll stick to southern living's food forum..cya

And editing to add the YES, I'M A CHRISTIAN and I wear that label with pride.
Now you can continue with trying to find the next person to bash over food.

Last edited by happymom4; 10-14-2007 at 07:04 AM.. Reason: CHRISTIAN
