Come to Clearwater Beach! It's a really fun place for spring breakers. I don't think (I hope) you would regret it.

I can't believe some of the responses in this thread. Those are regular cities that most people are talking about where you would just go to a beach. If you're looking for binge drinking, clubs that stay open til 4-5 am, hookups, and partying, then be all means go to Panama City Beach. Panama City Beach, South Padre Island (Texas), and Lake Havasu (Arizona) are the three biggest spring break destinations in the United States. Do not listen to these other people saying to go to regular cities like "West Palm Beach" or "Clearwater Beach."

Clearwater Beach has one place where people party (it's a hotel complex called Shephards). That's all it has. There are no people slamming drinks in the streets or college kids.

If you are looking for an older crowd, then go to the Florida Keys. The keys is more of an all age group Spring Break.

Ages ago, Ft. Lauderdale used to be an in-state runner up to Panama City Beach, but they have passed several ordinences and rules to distance itself from Spring Breakers and the cops have become strict and they do not want to be known for that sort of thing.

Daytona is also another weak link that doesn't size-up to Panama City Beach. While there is partying, it's nothing on the magnitude of the level of partying you will do at Panama City Beach. They have also become more strict the last 5 years.

Do not listen to any of these people if you plan on coming to Florida and spending thousands of dollars on hotels and you want to party. Go to Panama City Beach. There are hotels on the island or and you can usually find something for $70-$110 range depending on how close to the water you want to be. PCB is strictly all partiers and people drinking and looking for other groups of people to party and hookup with. Club Le Vela is the largest club in the state of Florida and has bikini contests and rap concerts daily during spring break season (this is the legendary place MTV used in the 1990s for it's Spring Break coverage which is now considered too explicit for tv). Spinnakers, Hammerhead Freds, and Harpoon Harrys are other legendary clubs that people go to party.

And if you are going with a group of people, find a spring break package. These packages include braclets to a lot of clubs, and a deal on hotels and food. Do not waste your time with a regular city if you are looking to party or you will be let down.

So... Miami vs. Panama city?? We've read that Ft. Lauderdale isn't that popular anymore.

Any tips/places/where to stay would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!!!
Pack you're bags for Tallahassee, stay in a high rise hotel there drive 45 minutes south, hit beutiful St. George Island and party there.
