this is our local radar just now up here in Jax
the news said 6' to 8' surf 10" waves out farther but "sloppy" so not great for surfing fans.

Oh my, the ocean looks a bit wild today.
We saw on the weather channel that you have waves heading your way. It seemed that the further south, the luckier you would be. Cape Hatteras had 18-24 foot waves last night. Pretty big waves!

Fortunately, I know better then to build my home on a shifting sand bar. They call the beach a barrier island for a reason.

Unfortunately, that low sitting off the coast will bring high winds but very little moisture, so it is not helping the fire situation in Florida.
