Ft. White is VERY small, not much town there - post office, a couple of gas station/convenience stores and a couple of other things. Ft. White's business comes from being near the River where people launch their boats and go tubing. Its not far from Lake City which a decent sized town on I75, and not far from Gainesville, which is larger still. Very rural, not panhandle and still hot/humid. Are you ready to trade dry Arizona heat for the humidity again? At least in Ft. White you shouldn't have to evaccuate during hurricanes. Good luck!

Horse farms in Ocala are, very often, large and expensive. The ones near Ft. White are generally farms where you can take horses.
