Close to 120 million visitors passed through theme park gates in 2006. Just think that an average of $50 per person equals $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

In fact, five of the top 11 theme parks worldwide are in Central Florida.

Here's the break down.
1. Magic Kingdom - 16,640,000 visitors
6. Epcot – 10,600,000 visitors
7. Disney MGM Studios – 9,100,000 visitors
8. Animal Kingdom – 8,910,000 visitors
11. Universal Studios Orlando – 6,000,000

Water Park numbers
1. Typhoon Lagoon – 2,050,000 visitors
2. Blizzard Beach – 1,880,000 visitors
3. Wet n’ Wild – 1,340,000 visitors

The economic/financial grow/take for central Florida is in the billions or higher, are the residents wages fair?

Of course not. The profits go to the executives, and investors- not the employees. And to think there was a time BEFORE theme parks existed!

Everyone where I work seems very nice and I have never had any problems. But even though the wages aren't the greatest... I love the perks. In my humble opinion....as much $$$$ as they take in every day..they could increase our wages more that what we are making. now.
