I was wondering what the Regency Oaks neighborhood in Spring Hill was like. Saw a house in this neighborkhood that might work for us. Any info would be appreciated.

I lived in Regency Oaks for 12 years. Subdivision was established around 1987. It had an elective home owners association which didn't make sense to me. Some of us chose to join, others didn't. The homes have decent pieces of land, BUT we moved when a great number of homes were being rented out. That was when the subdivision started looking shabby. Just rode through a few weeks ago and it seems to have turned around. The Suncoast Parkway has made Spring Hill more accessible to Tampa which is a big plus. I would advise to check out the homeowners insurance prices because Regency Oaks is located on the west side of Hwy 19 and is in one of the first evacuation zones. Hope this helps.

This does help, especially the advice regarding home owners insurance and the evacuation zone. Thank you.
