Those of you who think you will get away from brutal cold temps by moving to Florida, forget it.

The temps in Sarasota county plummeted to the low 40's overnight. There were warnings out for wind chills in the low 30's!!!

I saw some frost on roofs this morning and I could see my breath!!!
I had to put on a sweatshirt when I went to the store this morning!

Although it will be sunny today, the forecast high is only 69 degrees.
I planned on fishing today, but will reluctantly wait until tomorrow's more balmy temperatures. It will be a more Florida like 77 degrees.

So if you plan on moving down here, make sure you bring your winter clothing, or at least a sweatshirt.

Yea, and as soon as the sun comes up it goes up into the high 60's and into the 70's and feels fantastic. I was out the first thing this morning with a light jacket on and it was beautiful. You wish you could bottle this weather and sell it.

NO, say it is not so! I remember, once, not so long ago, being informed that it does not get cold like that in Florida! Hahahahaha

Took the kids to school in winter coats after cleaning ice/frost from my windshield too. But I do love the cool brisk air, so refreshing!!!

LOL...poor babies!

How would you like -3 with a wind chill of -15 to -30???? That was our temp in Plattsburgh, NY this morning. Fortunately, the wind has stayed calm.

Keep smilin', folks!

Oh my god sometimes reading this board I am shocked by the negativity of some people.

Imagine, how horrible it must be having to wear a jacket, did it hurt your shoulders?

I do not mind the cold, it could snow for all I care! If it snowed, it would be gone within hours. hahaha

Everyone enjoy the lovely day we will have!!!

Honey, the folks on this forum love giving each other a hard time about the weather. It's all in fun.

How's the weather over there today? Seen the sun lately?

Woke up to 39 here in Orlando, but it's supposed to warm up to 63. The sun is shining brightly and the air is crisp. I actually don't mind a little cool if it is accompanied by the sun. The sun came out late yesterday afternoon and DH and I were able to have our usual after work but before dinner - visit and 'cocktail' ( iced tea) on the pool deck. It was a little chilly but not too bad.

Thank goodness...two cold, rainy, dreary days in a row are enough!! Am I spoiled or what!!? I hope you all have a LOVELY day and make the best of it where ever you happened to spend it!
