A lot of people that work in Stuart live in Port St. Lucie because the rent is significantly cheaper in Port St. Lucie. There are very few bad areas of Port St. Lucie, which will definitely give you a quieter suburban lifestyle.

Stuart is a smaller town feel. Also very quiet. But more expensive.

Hello again from Bulgaria

I'm pulling up this thread again, because we're still not sure where to go..All the places looks good enough for us, but recently we found, that "friend of our friend" lives and works in Key West, so there we'll have someone to welcome us, this is a big plus for aliens, I think..
KW, as I saw, have the small town feeling and some decent beaches, but the cost of living and the job market aren't what we are looking for..How much we need per month? Will the crap-cleaner etc. job be enough for living?..If someone can give low-life expenses in KW, it will be nice. Thanks!

No Jacksonville option? You're missing a possible option there. And despite NASA layoffs,I don't the space cost is worse than anywhere else on your list

Yes, nice people here told me, that Space Coast is not an option..
Jacksonville is cool place, I'm sure, but I don't want to drive 2 hours a day to work and back, it's a huge city..
