The ultimate would be a small habitable Island in the South Pacific, near Tahiti.

California real estate and COL easily exceeds that % difference in minimum wage. Outside of groceries, nearly everything I saw in multiple CA cities was more expensive. Not to mention the slew of additional taxes.

Unlimited money and good health ??

My answer would be to hop around the world until I'm too tired to move any more.

Regarding specific cities/states, for me it's difficult to say if I haven't lived there. I mean, a place might look great, but you never really know. In Florida, I'd probably pick Sarasota, but I'd like to checkout St Pete. I think a brownstone in Coolidge Corner (Brookline, MA) would be nice.

Also, California has a border crossing with Mexico. Enough said... that alone increases crime. Just ask Texans how that is working out for them right now...

Besides, who aspires to be a minimum wage earner?

There are more scumbags in Kali.
