I'm thinking of buying this car off of someone, but my concern is the tint may be too dark for Florida laws. Does anyone have experience or opinion about this based on the photos at the link below? Please check out all three photos if you can. Thanks in advance.

Yep. There is such a thing as tint too dark. Just call DHSMV and ask them or ask a police officer what is too dark. You can't really tell from a picture and what people will tell you on this forum is not always what you need to know. You need to hear it from a cop.

Actually you are probably ok. When I had tints put on, the guy said the back windows could be really dark but the front two had to be a light tint to be legal. I made mine the lighter legal all around, didn't want two different tint levels, thought it might look funny. I would not worry about the tints by the looks of the photo as the fronts look lighter.

I've been stopped more than once and been told different numbers every time by Florida's finest. They really just use it as an excuse to stop people and check them out.

Beats doing real police work...
