Hello everyone. Finally decided to take the plunge and make the move! These winters in CT are intolerable to me now. I've spent much time in the Tampa Bay area, so know it from a vacation viewpoint, though many relatives live there. I've been down the east coast (loved it) but mostly in passing.
Fortunately a job is not a problem. As an RN Supervisor, I have multiple offers.
I am a single 56 yr old woman with no kids or ties except my 2 cats, lol.
I'm looking for a town home complex (but flexible) without a lot of kids as close to the sea/gulf as possible. I'm not sure about "over 55" complex as I am quite young at heart-ha. My budget for rent is up to about 1200 or so.
I love the Madiera Beach area, but think that's from a vacation viewpoint. To live it seems a bit congested-I need some space, but the proximity to the beach is a major requirement. Safety is important also.
Once I went to the Cape Canaveral and Ormond Beach areas and loved the beaches.
Job opportunities exist in Rockledge and nearby areas. The east coast beckons me in a way, but I don't really know much about living there.
I'm not interested in the southern east coast.
Hope I covered all bases! Thanks!
