Gun culture is popular in all of Arkansas including NWA. However, NWA is a VERY safe region with low crime. Never once did I feel unsafe there. Lived there a majority of my life until 2 years ago. I grew up with locked gun cabinets in my home, family members that hunt etc. I know mass shootings can crop up anywhere but over the NWA region is a gun culture but a non gun violence one.

If this weekends Heroes & Hot Rods car show with an AR 15 raffle is any indication, I would say yes, guns are popular in AR.
