I really can use a second opinion about how I dress outside of the office. I am 40, but I hate the way a "typical" 40 year old dresses. I like to wear attractive, sexy clothing, but of course I want to make sure i'm not trying so hard I look like a ho!
Anyone have a "style icon" of someone my age and body type, who you think looks great, classy and sexy?

Maybe buy some fashion magazines just give yourself a general idea. You dont have to have extra money to dress nice you just have to know how to dress. I wear conservative clothes to work but when its time to relax my clothing style changes. My looks change from work to the biker bar?

And i gotta tell ya, sometimes typing "I'm 40" just doesn't seem possible and makes no sense. I think that is part of my porblem with clothes.
Can you watch the TLC satellite/cable channel's "What Not to Wear"? Stacey and Clinton are professional stylists in NYC who help women (and a few men) improve their wardrobe choices. I recommend watching several episodes.
