Those tiny, little hairs above our eyes that many women either pluck, paint, pierce or tattoo play a very important role in keeping moisture out of our eyes.

Just like an umbrella keeps our bodies dry from the rain, our hairy eyebrows keep our eyes dry from rain or sweat.

Why do we have eyebrows?

Ever wonder why we have a nose when we can breathe through our mouths? The only thing I can think of is when chewing we need to breathe...but then, some people chew with their mouths open. They don't really need a nose.

The hairs and mucus in the nose help to filter the air entering our lungs.

I never thought about the why, but I am glad there is an explanation.

It's great to have eyebrows, but some folks (men and women) need desparately to shape them better so they don't look so bushy or too thick (ugggh!!). Some people need maintenance on them and don't.

Well, my eyebrows have decided they are going into hiding soon, they are thinning themselves out!

Mine too! There is less and less hair where I want it, and more and more where I don't

I find it ugly when women pluck their eyebrows.
