She says she never can say or do anything to retract all that, but she would if she could. I believe her.

Both sides torture and it's just horrible. We had denied doing so until recently. It's a knife that cuts both ways.

Wasn't this thread about her plastic surgery?
Unfortunately she like other actors that have had plastic surgery, is becoming less recognizable. She didn't need it in my opinion and looked great for a 72 year old but in order to still be marketable, plastic surgery is still used. Has anyone seen what the English actor Rupert Everett looks like since his extreme make over? Unrecognizable and has been out of the picture since. I know they make tons of money but at what price fame?

I know you are right. Some actresses and actors have begun to look freakish from all the plastic surgery! Scary looking! Not looking like yourself is one thing. Looking freakish is something else. Eventually you have to accept aging, with grace.

That is a precedence that the entertainment industry has to change just like the fashion industry has to change looking like a stick figure is beautiful. It damages men and women alike. Only in the U.S. is aging considered negative as well as skinny is in.

I think most of the top line stars, with the money, can afford the best surgeons and treatment and look great. The ones that start looking a bit odd to me are not the top draws and so I assume they are not going to the same surgeons.

However we feel about it, obviously they think they require it to remain employable.

When I meet a person who is in their 60's or 70's and then see a photo of them in their 20's I often don't think it's the same person. I think if they had surgery they might be made to look more like they were then. Of course as we age the nose and ears seem to grow and the bones and jaw shrink and despite the tightness of the skin and the cheek and chin implants I don't think they could make you really look like you did at 20.

I like the way she looks. I think surgeons should get congratulations when they do good work. If the star is willing to be truthful about having surgery, I can't see why they don't reveal the doctor's name. Are they somehow asked not to?
