what i HATE are girls in the south that will wear hoodies, and short shorts, in 40 degree weather and wear uggs. if you're that cold....WEAR SOME JEANS.
That was started by surfers. I guess it really doesn't make a lot of sense
I used to wear a hoody with board shorts and uggs all the time. I guess cause you don't lose much body heat from the upper legs.
You can't beat them for warmth and comfort. But they are ugly.
I have 2 pairs. Black shorts and the medium high natural color. Mostly I wear them as slippers around the house but I will run out to the store in them. As much as I like the comfort, they aren't supportive enough for me to wear walking or working all day.
I saw an ad for old navy that has something like UGGs on sale for 15 bucks! (on tv last night) hey if you only wear em to take out the trash...15 bucks is good!

Really?? I got my fakes at Boscov's on sale for $35 and they are suede with sheepskin lining. Not a fashion statement but for cold snowy mornings they do the trick, hence the reason why I won't pay for real UGGS to get ruined in snow & sleet
I'll have to check Old Navy for another pair in a different color
I like the idea of warm toasty feet. Uggs are a start, but I think they are too plain. I like the idea of front lacing boots with a pretty fake fur embellishment to warm the legs, as well. The soles should feel like walking on two sponges. I like knee high boots for the brutal days. Footwear should NEVER cause pain. Innersoles can cure a few problems. Toes should never burn and itch like they are on fire, nor should they turn deep red. It's hell when they are so cold they are numb.
Why "shouldn't" you wear them? Haahaha, I'm so ridiculously obstinate that if there is something I "shouldn't" do, just because of popular opinion, I will go out of my way to do it.
I've never liked Uggs. Never. But my daughter told me how warm and comfy they are and I got tempted. Now that I know they are being frowned upon I will probably buy myself a pair and wear them just to annoy people.
Doesn't anybody have a problem w/feet becoming TOO warm? I don't like them either (I think they are ugly and something that people had to "follow the flock, jump on the trend") - I don't like fleece lined slippers either - TOO hot (maybe I'm just hot stuff? LOL)
