So there is a new spin on this style of footwear. Is anyone interested in this trend?

I think I would like the fringed boots if they had a closed toe. They are the only ones that appeal to my taste. I want to like the grey ones, but I want a shoe that knows if it is a sandal or a boot KWIM?

I love love love the peeptoe booties and the perforated trend. However I think it works only in S. CA and the Southwest, anywhere that's warm and dry. Absolutely worthless in the east where humidity in the summer would make wearing a boot too uncomfortable even if it is perforated.

Yuk. They look like someone made them out of discarded wicker lawn furniture.

I like the perforated look - but not any of those shoes you showed us.

I have some peep-toe high heel pumps that have perforated leather that are the bomb!
