Do you like this color diamond? Pretty and unique or ugly?
I LOVE champagne colored diamonds!!!
My engagement ring was (hubby got me a bigger stone for our 10th anni, but the original stone has been re-set into a pendant) a 1.11ct princess cut champagne color diamond set in white gold. It's one of my fav pieces of jewelry, nor only for the meaning, but for the color and cut as well.

Personally I think it's quite ugly and looks like costume jewelry. But I'm not the one wearing it. I've never been one to worry about what anybody else thinks about what I do or what I wear. So I'm not trying to offend you, just answering your question on what I think of it.
Not unique, quite common. Used to be they couldn't even sell them because of the color -- they were considered industrial grade. Now of course, they're being marketed as "fancy" color.
As far as jewelry goes, if you like it, what does it matter if it's unique or valuable? *shrug* Wear it and enjoy it if you like it.
I love black diamonds, they are so chic and interesting! Haven't seen too many brown diamonds, I think it's silly to buy a brown diamond when you can buy topaz for much less. There's a beautiful canary diamond at the pawn shop down the street, they must be asking a fortune for it because it's been there for at least a year. I think it's interesting that the richer a diamond is in any particular color the more valuable it is. For example, a grade "D" white diamond is valuable, but if you have a grade "R" that is a faint yellow it is not valuable, but a pure yellow 'canary' diamond is valuable again.
