Hi all,
This is a really interesting forum. I am new so, to introduce myself, my name is Lucy and I have been studying fashion for the last 3 years. I am a 22 year old student living in London. On top of this, I am aspiring to be a model and any help anyone has would be really appreciated.

I have posted my pictures around and have got a bit of interest. See how that goes. Any other websites/agencies that people could recommend would be great.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on this forum!

Lucy x

Model shmodel. Design flattering fashions for women who do NOT have hourglass figures and are not 22--flat chested women, thick middled women, short legged women, no hipped women--and get rich.

We're all waiting.

AMEN!! If you design great looking fashion for REAL women. You will sell. Sometimes I wonder if clothing manufacturers EVER have real women try their clothes on before they mass produce thousands of something most women could never wear.

From what I've heard, a lot of women would like to have something that looks nice and is functional, comfortable (warm in the winter, cool in the summer), and not too expensive. That doesn't sound glamorous, but I think it covers a lot of territory not shared by many of the fashion models (sometimes referred to as "coat hangers" by designers) I've seen doing shows. BTW, I hope you can stay healthy if you become a model. Too many of them suffer physically from being "too fat" when they look just fine. Take care of yourself, OK?
