I thought Send aya looked amazing, but she always does for these things.

And some of the dresses on the fuller-figured ladies were gorgeous.

And I thought Donatella Versace's seafoam colored dress was dreamy. I thought it was beautiful.

This is quite the costume party. Designers let their imaginations run wild.

Peltz Beckham's mauve color collarless shirt, 3-piece suit is a 21st Century statement.

I saw some of the pictures yesterday. Looked more like ridiculously expensive cosplay than anything.

I really am torn about it. It seems gauche for a bunch of rich people to spend hundreds of thousands of $$ on that, when the country is in such turmoil.

Yet, I’m a fan of art and the creativity is amazing, and I don’t think the arts get enough attention.

I think the weird and vulgar overshadowed some of the more truly gorgeous pieces. Dua Lipa comes to mind. Looks like she went to Goodwill and hodge-podged her outfit together.
I had a good laugh at the gorgeous black woman in the gold outfit who had to be lifted up the stairs because, I guess, she couldnt walk up in that tight dress.

And then I thought of my imminent big hike in property taxes and everything was put in perspective again.

That was Tyla, a new South African singer/songwriter on the scene. That "gown" was supposed to represent sand, and the "bag" she carried was to represent the sands of time passing through the hourglass. I thought it was pretty neat, but yes, it looked terribly uncomfortable.

I found a neat write-up about it here.

It looks like it was pasted on. How else can a dress almost give you a wedgie? Link is to the video in Post #1 at 9:33.
