I have a thing for naturally blond women and they are so hard to find. I know about a woman that has very light natural blond hair, it is just otherworldly. I also think women with albinism are attractive looking.

But it is like a pain. They are so hard to find.

The US has predominantly black and brown hair in the population, with 85% for black hair and 11% for brown hair. Authentic blonde hair makes up only 2% of the population, and authentic red hair, the rarest hair color of all, makes up only 1% of the American population.

While about 45% of population has brown eyes, the other 4 colors are more or less rare.

Some people like what's not common or ordinary.

How can you tell a natural blond from someone with dyed blond hair?

Good point, some people are very clever and skilled in the art of hair dye!
Just like some women wear make up, but know how to apply it, so it's not really obvious.

I remember in the 1970's feeling somewhat inferior with my brunette hair because so many of the beauty icons of the day were blondes; Cybill Shepherd, Cheryl Tiegs, Shelley Hack, Christy Brinkley, Farrah Fawcett, etc.

True blondes do seem to be few and far between these days, both male and female.

I like them if they are nice people. I like brunettes if they are nice people. Even people with gray hair, lots of them are nice people too.

Hopefully you are looking for more in a partner than hair color.

I guess my "type" has always been blond hair and blue eyes, managed to date a few and married one. If I went to any of the Nordic countries I would be like a kid in a candy store.

Just wait few weeks and you will see.
On the surface, the main differences between a colored blonde and a natural blonde lie in the the color of the hair's roots, the shade of blonde, as well as the shine and texture of the hair.
Colored hair fades after few washes, it feels different too.

Assuming that in the US less than 2% are natural blond, you can almost bet that what you see is from a bottle.

Golden hair. Yep, like a moth to a flame. I have no clue why? I don't know if I learned it or it is simply innate. No clue. But yes, a woman with blonde hair is just a magnet. I have always preferred blonds.

Now that I think of it, 2 out of every 3 girlfriends I had sported beautiful silky blonde hair.

Yep, I have a thing.
