There are two brands out there that profess to make your eyelashes grow, but I wonder if anyone on these boards has tried any brand lately that actually did make their eyelashes grow? What brand? And did it work?
I am really interested in finding out if these work, and, if so, maybe trying one.
Thanks!

I tried Latisse and I didn't notice any growth. I've stopped using it and noticed that I have a bald spot on one of my eyes! I don't trust these promises to "grow your eyelashes"....

I was recently at a spa show and heard about Latisse. You have to use it for at least 3-4 months to see any difference according to the rep. I think a good application of mascara will do almost the same thing but without side effects. At $99 per month, I'll stick with mascara.

I have some stuff by Jan Marini, I think it's called Age Intervention or something like that. I bought it from the MedSpa where I get my botox and all that fun stuff. I use it occasionally - if I remember. I think it was just money Ireally didn't need to spend. I think it was like $180.00 for the tube. In all honesty, I'm fine with my mascara and when I dress up I do false eyelashes.

99 a month?????????WOW! I used something called Revitalash and is working!

Like Latisse, you have to wait 6 weeks or so!

Why is it that men have long eyelashes and women have to pay to make them longer???!!!!!!

Did you read about the side affects of Latisse - can cause temportary eyelid staining and permament iris change to brown. No way would I put such stuff near my eyes!

I read this too, and it is a possibility but I also read that during the testing, the iris changing color did not occur to anyone just using it on the lids for eyelash growth, only those who were actually putting it IN the eyes for the glaucoma treatment it originated for.

I have very short, stubby lashes and yes, I use mascara, but when your lashes are this short, believe me, there's room for improvement even with mascara! Frankly, I would like to try this stuff, but the $120 a month price tag gives me pause! I am a little concerned, too, about the safety of the product, but if it were a little cheaper, I'd probably give it a go.

I'm just too impatient. I want it to work right now! Not that I don't have enough eyelashes already. I'm addicted to wearing false lashes - all different styles. I have fun with it. So, I guess I really don't need to use an eyelash grower.

I would never use a product like that!

The only products that go near my eyes are eye liner, eye shadow and, on special occasions, mascara.
