Is solid cologne a good deal? (smell, thin, long)

I guess it depends on the deal you're getting. Do you prefer solid to spray?

I have never used a solid cologne but I know spray cologne generally smells stronger and lasts longer simply because the carrier method is different. Although solid cologne you can easily carry with you. Its pocket-sized tins are easy to throw in a backpack, and the lack of liquid makes them so much easier to take on an airplane than a spray cologne. I think it's worth considering.
