What do girls think of guys that shave their armpits? (scalp, looks)

Personally I never understood why girls shave their armpits but guys don’t. As a guy, I, personally, think underarm hair looks nasty on both men and women. To me, the hair serves no purpose and just contributes to body odor. So I think it looks nicer and cleaner for the hair to be gone on anyone, both male and female.
But what do girls think about guys that remove their underarm hair? Do most girls really prefer men to be hairy in that area?
I don't want anything shaved on a guy other than his face, and a clean hair/neckline. If I found out a guy I was interested in shaved his pits, I'd no longer be interested.
I wouldn't care if a guy had shaved pits (actually would look better IMO) - I do like chest hair (unless you look like a gorilla - but NO to the back hair.
Pretty shallow to judge a man’s worth as a partner depending on whether he shaves his pits or not.
Hilarious! He probably has no idea of the bullet he dodged by your rejection.
Hah! For a naked or bare chested man it doesn't matter to me. If he had a nice body it looks good either way. If he's a pudding he's not going to look good with or without. However.......it doesn't look good showing over the top of is shirt. This is leaving personality out of it. Things can be overlooked on a man with mega personality. As for a. A******....... he's an a****** no matter how sizzling he looks.

Personally, I'm surprised to find that so many women would be turned off by a guy who shaved his pits. If I liked a guy, his manscaping wouldn't be a deal breaker for me (as long as he practices good hygiene and is groomed).
I just find it interesting that women are turned off if men are bald, and men are turned off if women aren't. How many guys would be turned off if they discovered a woman didn't shave her pits? Her legs?

I don't know what most girls prefer for their men. I don't care either because that's their own business strictly between them and their men.
Speaking for myself (as an old grandma who used to be a girl many, many moons ago) if a guy feels more comfortable in his own skin because he shaves some or all parts of his skin then I say go for it and all the more power to him!
I would say the same thing if the guy decided to get full body hair implants all over so he feels more comfortable having a permanently attached fur coat like a sasquatch. I'd even even offer to occasionally brush his hair on his back where he can't reach it himself.
Because an individual's personal physical and emotional comfort is far more important than what other people think of the way the individual looks to them.

Thought: Do not like effeminate. Yes, I do prefer them hairy. Don't know why. Just like I prefer them short and skinny. Don't know why.
