Well, it doesn't affect me since I don't wear slim flit clothes. However, my uncle wanted to buy a pink slim fit button-down shirt and I wanted to share it with him if one gets released for this spring/summer. I'm not sure if it will be happening now at least with my favorite brand; he will have to look into other brands that are targeted towards a younger audience.
I can't decide if the answers to this (like "I am!") are being funny or not. Do you people really expect to be always wearing "this year's" sweaters? When I buy a sweater, I'm expecting to be wearing it for 3-6 years - or more, if I'm lucky.
I have a sweater from 14 years ago from the Gap that I love but too bad it's starting to fray. I can't find another one like it anymore!
That's the unfortunate thing about the fashion calendar unless its a core item that can be sold year-round for several years; that you probably won't ever be able to find a replacement once it wears out. I once had a pink interlock polo that I really loved from spring/summer 2015 that got bleach spots in the back that I was sad to get it damaged. Three years later in spring/summer 2018 a miracle happened that my favorite brand released a new interlock polo in the same shade of pink. While not exactly the same shirt; it captured the spirit of the previous one. My spring/summer 2018 interlock polo is still going strong after two years; this month was actually its two-year anniversary since I bought it. I hope one day I can find a spring/summer 2015 in my size in new, unworn condition for I can have both the 2015 and the 2018. I have been on the lookout on eBay, Poshmark, and Mercari for one since 2016.
I still wear it sometimes but it'd probably be better to get a new one!
You can try to crochet mouse teeth along the neckline. Maybe use a pearl embroidery floss to make it look the same but not the same. Have you tried Amazon?

If someone got half of a chuckle out of "I am", I'm happy that they did. I buy quality clothing when I want or need it to last. I own vintage items that I've aged in my own closet. I have sweaters that my mom knit for me in the 1980s. I wear them, too. I wasn't kidding when I said that I was wearing an old sweater. I love the silk cardigan that I bought in 2010.
I don't wear them every day or week, so they last for very a long time.
When the Celebrities wear anything over again, the media calls it "recycled"
