I don't believe the Snuggie fastens closed. I think it's open in the back.
Wearable blanket that opens in the frontis called a robe. LOL
Yup, robes work best! They even come in different materials and styles. There's something for everyone. I have three robes. I love robes! And they're easy to operate, also.

I have a snuggie in the basement somewhere. I find them inconvenient because every time you have to get up to get a snack, run to the bathroom, etc. it's a PITA to 'wear it' while walking, or you wind up taking it off and having to resettle when you get back to your seat.
I used to have a snuggie. It was very cozy. That's the good part.
It also creates a lot of static electricity, and it's really long...which, if you're up and down, in and out of a chair a lot...is annoying.
But just for lounging on the couch, or in your recliner, reading a book or taking a nap...it's great.
Oh...also, the sleeves are really long. The better to tuck your arms and hands up in to snuggle and be warm...but again, if you're moving around, trying to do anything with your hands...it's annoying.
I had a snuggy, but I dumped him about 6 months ago... I wasn’t the only one he was snuggin.
