Any of you have any tricks to try to hide or diminish it?
I know about scarves but they don't work too well in the summer or hot weather.
I heard to skip earrings all together or wear real long dangley ones.
How about darker powder on the neck?
Thanks for any tips!
Yes, me. I hate it, but I just ignore. Because, really, what can you do short of plastic surgery?
I wear the earrings I want. I smile because a smiling older face is preferable to a frowny older face. I use mascara to emphasize my long lashes. I put blush around my face as well.
Our facial muscles are just like other parts of our bodies and we need to exercise them to keep them plump and strong. That's why they sag and fold. No surgery needed.
Turkey neck is sagging skin. Old skin sags and wrinkles. The woman in the video isn't even old enough to have sagging skin or even wrinkles yet, she's no expert.
I'm in my mid 50s and I've been able to avoid it. How? When I was in college, good friends mom owned a health food store. Once I asked her, "what do you feel is the number one vitamin you'd recommend a person take all of their lives." Her reply was "well there are many but I'd say Vitamin E is super important."
I took her advice and I've taken one Vitamin E pill since my late teens and have nary a wrinkle. Stuff works great and keeps your skin young and wrinkle free.
Not much you can do once you get the turkey neck but follow this advice if you are young and want to look great as you age...

Well, I am almost 70 - I have a long slender neck, and while I don't have the "wattle" I do have the creases and neck rings. Honestly, there really isn't much one can do. I am more concerned with feeling good and avoiding injuries these days, I am recuperating from one now. Who gives a sh* if my neck has wrinkles....

Yes. We need to take care of our health more than ever as we age. We are not escaping this life unscathed.
Sunscreen on your neck, every day you put it on your face (this is for younger people as it is a preventive measure). And the "cords" in the neck are caused by tendons (or ligaments) shortening as you age, so spend a lot of time looking up. Keep them stretched.
