I dress so as to not get arrested.

I try to do both. I don't wear shoes I can't walk in comfortably, or outfits that I'm constantly having to adjust. That said, you can be comfortable without looking like a hobo. I'd never go to the airport in pajamas, like some people, but you can wear soft, stretchy fabrics that are just as easy to wear while still being put together.

Gee, it seems like a lot of people equate style with discomfort or formality.

I've developed my own style, fun colors, coordinated clothing, complimentary jewelry...but still very comfortable.
much nicer than the tee shirts and jeans everybody wears alla time.

Maxi dresses are my go to airport outfit. Feels like pajamas. Keeps you covered for the drafty plane. And looks more polished than crappy sweatpants.

Both. I feel more comfortable if I look nice and put together. I'm never uncomfortable in my stylish clothes. My work pants are just as comfortable, if not more, than my jeans. Not all stylish clothes are uncomfy.
I do have lazy days around the house like if I'm doing yard work or cleaning I won't wear anything. nice or stylish.

I'd say a mix. I like to look good, but I'm never embarrassed to chose function over fashion.

Can't say I've been stylish a day in my life. So I guess that leaves comfort. LOL

Both, depending on the situation. I am just as comfortable in a LBD as I am in shorts and a tank top and like being a girly girl as much as I like riding my Harley.

At my career (I am retired) I dressed mostly what would be considered a slight business casual upgrade except when I had to attend/assist at board meetings. Then it got a bit dressier, not sure why because most of the board members were ranchers and farmers and were pretty laid back.

Now it's comfortable all the way. Comfy jeans or shorts, soft tops and shoes that don't hurt my "Wilma Flintstone" wide, short feet.

It's all about comfort and hopefully something somewhat flattering. Stylish doesn't play into it at all, but I do try to find things that look decent on me and aren't a total mess.
