I would wear it out if going to a cheap Chinese restaurant. Without fear of getting cheap Chinese food on it. (Just being honest).

Exactly. It's different. Anybody can wear a plain old blue striped shirt but this one - being a bit different - has character. Don't be so rigid that you fear expressing yourself in this shirt. I'd buy it.

Because of the color variation within the stripes it gives it a softer look and seems more casual - which is fine unless you were intending for a business/dress occasion of some type. I think it's a nice change from the usual.

Would work for casual wear with jeans. For work or dress-up, no, in my opinion. It's not particularly to my taste.
