I'm with the birthday suit crowd. Heck most days when it's above 70 I stay in the air conditioned house with no clothes on and a fan blowing on me. I couldn't handle having anything more then a sheet on and a fan blowing on me in an air conditioned room. PJ's? No way.
I used to agree but ever since I started getting hot flashes it makes perfect sense
I have to have the AC on, then have a light blanket with a percale cotton sheet underneath, then I wear a t shirt and boxers (so this way I get 4 selections of off and on coverage....it's pure madness I tell ya
Wait....you wear "boxers" and you get hot flashes?
BTW, I wear nothing - summer or winter - not since I was a teenager.
For those that don't wear anything, do you use any special kind of cool bed sheets like satin, cotton, etc.? Or do you go with flannel all year round?
How about you others that wear something?
"Regular" sheets - not flannel, nor microfiber, nor jersey. Just your basic, standard sheets, usually on sale at Target. I buy a new set every year or 2, whenever the fitted sheet starts to get too thin. In summer I just have a sheet over me, too. I wash and immediately replace it on my bed, just so I can avoid having to fold fitted sheets.
Summer temperatures here average in the low to mid 60s, and it's almost always chilly at night. There is no air conditioning here, and Mr. Bay and I don't even own a fan. We wear flannel pajamas and sleep under a duvet nearly 365 days a year. Only on the rare warm nights do we switch to something more lightweight and/or swap the duvet for a loose-weave cotton blanket.
