my boyfriend ordered me a tshirt from amazon and unfortunately it's too small not by much, just a little bit. is there a way to stretch it out? it's just a standard cotton tshirt with stuff on the front. i've read about soaking it in baby shampoo and pulling it to stretch it out but i was under the impression that that was for stuff that shrunk but were originally bigger. this is starting out too small. any ideas?

Can you send it back and exchange it for the next size up?

What material is it made of? Unless it's 100% cotton, it's unlikely you can stretch it, there's just so much fabric per size!

Either send it back or order the next size up.

Since you can't send it back for a larger size wash it in cold water. When you get it out of the washer lay it flat to dry after you have gently stretched it out where it needs to be larger. Also worth a try is using a steam iron while gently stretching the shirt. These methods may not work but it's worth a try.

Good luck!

That's the best way to fit into anything that's too tight-shrink yourself, don't make the clothing bigger. It's also the hardest way, unfortunately.
