not to shave/wax anymore. When I met my husband, I always used to rock a Brazilian wax but these days (he's 38, I'm 27) he claims he wants to see it more "au naturel"
I swear this is not a troll thread, but what are your thoughts on this issue? Has your SO/husband ever NOT complained about you being "bare naked" and now all of a sudden they want to see hair on your "kitty kat?"

There have been a few threads on this, and the consensus always ends up being "depends on the person."
If you don't care and your man has already put in a request, I think you have your answer.
Um, ok....it's just a question bc I was wondering if it was financial related (it's like $50 to wax brazilian here) & he's all like "no I just don't want you to do it" & i'm like

It's probably just a preference and agrees it's not worth spending that sort of money on it
The body grows hair for a reason. Pubic hair on women protects the sensitive region from chafing during sex and also provides a dry moisture. Shaving reduces your natural scent, which is called pheromones. Pheromones is a natural chemistry that our body releases to attract our mate.
Shaving pubic hair was a feminine thing to do. Now men are also starting to shave their pubic hairs and calling it, manscaping. Some may say manscaping plays a role in the effeminatization of men, but that’s another post for another time.
Removing pubic hair is painful – agony, actually, according to those who have succumbed to waxing the area, which is the most efficient way to go about it. It’s painful when it grows back, and it’s expensive. It is also dangerous. Last year, Emily Gibson, director of the health centre at Western Washington University in the USA, launched an appeal to put a stop to the trend for hair removal because, she claimed, it increases the risk of infection and sexually transmitted diseases. “Pubic-hair removal,” she said, “naturally irritates and inflames the hair follicles, leaving microscopic open wounds.” She also said it was not unusual to see patients with boils and abscesses on their genitals from shaving. And all, it seems, because of a growing feeling that there might be something unacceptable about female genitals in their natural state. To me, this is a feminist issue.

You don't have preferences for him?
You don't like him to wear certain colors? Keep his hair a certain length? Go with or without facial hair???
My husband doesn't understand most grooming standards/expectations (or beauty regimens). I used to get a Brazilian every 4-6 weeks a few years ago, and did up until I hit the second trimester of my last pregnancy. My husband couldn't care less, really, but I know he doesn't prefer Brazilian.
