Those pictures ARE NOT of flip-flops.................they are SHOWER-SHOES!!!!!!!!
Technically; thongs, used in showers or not- still fli flops, if a chick was wearing them, they'd not only be flip flops, but would probably have a flower, or some sparkly on them.
I love flip flops, but prefer they be well-made from quality materials. I don't like those cheap-o rubbery types, but some nice LL Bean or Teva flip flops are where it's at.
Did you ever see the movie "Castaway" Tom Hanks ?
If there were ever an emergency that having something durable on your feet became important, and all you had were those, you wouldn't last long .
Real life is unkind, and particularly unkind to the poorly prepared .
I recommend good leather sandals if you must have sandals at all.
I personally don't care for what's fashionable , I care about safety ,mine and those around me, whether I am a victom or a rescuer.
When I was a kid those were called flip flops ( about 50 years ago) and they were not much good for any thing but shower shoes IMO . but then I didn't sit on my butt all day either playen computer games.
Your feet look above average compared to the average guy - and you keep your toenails well trimmed. People are saying your sandals are too small - I think the issue is that you have longer toes than average...unless they are short in the back, I don't know that bigger sandals will "hit you" any differently in the front. But yeah - if you're out of college, get some nicer flip flops made of leather - but please, no Tevas - those are just....nooooo.
Perhaps they are more acceptable in different locations. In SoCal, everyone wears sandals all the time. They are the norm. I would suspect in places like Maine, this would not be the case
even tho they say the gel doesn't absorb odors, it doesn't mean you should try to smell the cap when you take it off
