Finding a Replacement for a Fragrance That's Been Discontinued (smell, scent, long)

I have no problem as I have always worn Chanel No. 5, but every time my husband finds a fragrance in an aftershave he likes, two years later, the department stores no longer carry it! (He only wears aftershave, not cologne.)

The most recent was Play by Givenchy and the time before that, it was Tsar. (You can still find the fragrances, but not in aftershave -- or at least not that I have been able to find!)

Anyway, does anyone know of a site where someone can enter a fragrance, and similar scents will be listed?

Have you checked Fragrance.Net yet? I found some fragrances there that I had missed when they were discontinued. Might be worth a peek.

Amazon claims to have a 3.4 oz aftershave Play by Givenchy in the $40-50 range. I see some options for $43.07, as well. Might be what you're looking for?
