I prefer women in high heels.

They can't run fast and are much easier to catch.

And then they want you to tell them how much you like them (The shoes).

I have Dr Steve to thank for me wearing flats for most of my life. I would wear 1 inch heels when pressured at work. And took them off for most of the day.

When I was 19, I had 14 plantar warts that had to be removed, and Dr Steve took one look and said -- you have the very beginnings of a bunion. If you continue to wear heels, by thirty five you will have to have a bunionectomy, where they cut into the bone... then he described the pain I would be in.

THEN he described what my feet would look like if I didn't listen to him.

I listened. Now, seeing a number of older women with hammertoes, and one who falls CONSTANTLY (our toes help keep our balance) I am very glad I listened to Steve.

As a man, I think a woman who can ACTUALLY walk in high heels can be cute. However,
it looks painful when someone is obviously struggling to walk in them.

Again, if you like it, I love it...not a requirement.

What's wrong with high heels? Well....

The are insanely uncomfortable. I cannot walk fast in them. I have to be extra careful about going up and down stairs, like I do a lot at my job. And I'd have to go buy a pair, since I do not own any.

I have owned exactly 2 pair of shoes with heels...one was a pair I got married in. They stayed on my feet for the ceremony, but not the reception or dance.
Then I bought a pair to wear to formal functions...wore them a few times, until I noticed other women wearing fancy flat shoes. So I went to nice flat shoes and never looked back.

I wear tennis shoes to work 75% of the time, and other flat shoes (sandals, flats, etc.) the rest.

I always dwarf men in heels and I'm too scared of ruining my feet. That said, I absolutely love a pair of sexy heels with the right outfit. But I'm more of a flip flop/sandals/sneakers kind of gal.

The only time I wear high heels is with an appropriate dress, sheer stockings, shaved legs, a good wig, and I've shaved my moustache.

When you can provide medical evidence that a necktie can cause permanent damage to one or more body parts, I'll go along. You're strictly in the minor discomfort level, as far as I can tell.
