I'd like to keep some deodorant in my glove box for backup in case I forget to put some on in the morning.

The normal summer temps here are in the 90s, with probably around a week or so of 100+ temps. So it gets 150+ when the car is sitting in the sun, and there's not a lot of shade in most parking lots here. The last stick I kept in the car melted into a gooey mess.

Anyone know of any types or brands that won't melt under these conditions? I'd prefer to avoid aerosol cans because they might explode in the heat.

Well, the idea is to keep some in the car permanently so I have it in case I forget to use it at home.

In the summer ice cubes might last half an hour, tops.

I'm not sure if a roll on would work either. Sometimes liquids get really, really thin in the heat. Then they flow easier and leak out.

Curious to know if you have you been able to successfully clean it from leather? I haven't, even using leather cleaner, the stain reappears.

Easy solution ... don't forget to use it at home. Do you forget to brush your teeth too?

Have a routine in the morning. Always do the same things, in the same order, even going so far as to lining up your products in that order. Before you leave the bathroom, stop and mentally go through your steps to be sure you've done them all. Within a few weeks, it will be a habit, and you won't forget.

I've never kept any in my car, and that's never been a problem.

I usually carry a small thing of deodorant (and toothpaste/brush) in whatever bag I have with me for the day. Very simple.

Just get a tiny one and stick it in your bag, or even in your desk at work.

My mom used to keep a roll on deodorant in a ziplock bag in her car. It still leaked sometimes but the bag caught the mess.

Geez people...

I don't need your judgement or advice on my morning habits.

I work from home. I do not have a set routine, I don't carry a bag around everywhere I go and I'm not interested in starting.

I want to get some deodorant and leave it in the car. That is the ONLY option here. If your advice/experience doesn't pertain to that EXACTLY, then kindly keep it to yourself.

Sorry, I can't offer any advice on that. My car doesn't have leather, and it leaked in the glove box (which is plastic) not on the seat.

I think the heat in a car would break down the ingredients and it wouldn'be be effective anyway - maybe get individually-wrapped deodorant wipes?

I agree with apexgds. Make it part of your routine when getting dressed in the morning. I put it on at night after my shower and it is part of my getting dressed routine.

I understand what you are saying with wanting to have it just in case but with heat like that, I don't think there is going to be an option unless you carry a backpack or something around, which you said you don't.

Also, are you already doing that and then find that your deodorant isn't working a little into your day? Maybe try a deodorant with antiperspirant. If I didn't do that, and especially in the summertime, forget about it!
