If he would have said something to her like "those pants make you look fat" I don't think she would have considered it an acceptable comment.
I personally think either comment would be really rude.

And don't for a minute try to tell me that men don't critique women in bathing suits. I didn't say that it's OK for women to walk up to a man in a Speedo and say "You look silly in that thing" any more than a man should walk up to a woman in a bikini and say, "You look fat in that."

But I think that both men and women alike probably comment to their friends, in private, about swim attire! And that's OK.

So true. Speedos on a sexy European with washboard abs = hot.

Speedos on a flabby American man with a muffin top, love handles, and potbelly overhanging the Speedos = eeew.

Okay, lets flip this around and see what happens.

Bikini on a flabby American woman with a muffin top, love handles, and potbelly overhanging the bikini = eeew.

Yes, but you know this thread isn't about women, it's about men and Speedos So bring on the male critiques!

Default Meowww!

It's because most American guys in speedos look like this:

But that's not what I'm referring to. BEHOLD the amazing power of a truly hot man in a speedo:

Because American women demand that they want a "real man".
