first I would suggest a hat, not big and floppy but tall and narrow with a flower in there somewhere.
then something with wide lapels because I think I remember that from something
use two purses because that would be unusual and distracting if the rest of this outfit bombs
those giant sahes with a huge bow are timeless or will stop time
Wear a dress or a skirt of some kind
shoes with the back raised up real high are what everyone is wearing these days
walk around all herky-jerky with a pouty look on your face
believe it or not, I'm a guy and pretty new at giving out fashion advice but I think I could get a handle on ths pretty quickly, please post pictures so that I can see how I've done.
That's likely an old picture of her, and the perspective changes how her shape looks. She has more curves than that picture makes it appear. There's no way she's an inverted triangle.
raquel welsh was an inverted triangle there's nothing wrong with being a inverted triangle it's actually an advantage.
Sofia vergara is an inverted triangle but she's still curvy. Curvy isn't only an hourglass characteristic.
And that's actually how she tends to look in bikinis unless she leans and pokes her hips out.
They're in THE BUSINESS where your a.s is your "a..et". They HAVE to keep it looking good. It's as if you were paid to go to work dressed well, but not expected to do any real work. Some may, like Audrey Hepburn, simply have incredible fashion sense; others pay attention to what their agent tells them.
Others just stick their bum out.
They have makeup artists, fashion designers, and pro beauty specialist giving them help.
Yeah I wish I had that much to invest in how to look that nice.
I like the idea of a waist cincher. I think that would really be helpful as I gain weight. At least in the 110-120 range don't want to get any heavier than that.
I look curvier in skirts and dresses and jeans. Also how your torso is shaped, and your hip structure make a difference on perceived curviness (and thigh shape too).
You can have a 10 inch difference and not look particularly curvy from the front. Serena Williams is a good example of this. She has more butt than hips, so she doesn't always "appear" curvy, although her measurements are.
Wear stuff to accentuate your waist, and "shrink" your shoulders if they are wide. Like try a dark colored boat neck top and a patterned pencil skirt at the bottom, with a belt. You'll look more hourglass.

My issue with skirts tends to be my hips many fabrics fall flat on them. Maybe it's too big? I don't really know.
