Jewelry is less thuggish than tats, generally speaking.

DH wears a cross on a thin chain and his wedding ring.

I don't like gold jewelry on men, except a wedding band.

BUT I have a lot of musician friends, and some of them wear jewelry like this:

and it is SO sexy. A simple chain necklace with a natural stone or small beads MIGHT work, but it has to be part of a look. Not Guido-ish.

This, but less piratey:

Once again, I agree!

For me, generally speaking, less is more.

My BF wears a white gold necklace, bracelet and some rings...It threw me off guard when I first met him (from online) but he's not American, so who am I really to judge. I actually grew to like it..

Now, one thing that does bother me...he also likes to wear his shirt open and show his hairy chest when we go out...I'm really considering buttoning a couple of buttons up, because it's something I don't think I can get used to..that's another thread though.

I like men who use a simple gold bracelet and a gold crucifix necklace.
I think men with gold bracelet look clean while a crucifix necklace means they are quite closed to God.
