They're cut differently than regular jeans. They have a longer inseam (read: crotch) like men's pants. But since they are loose, they aren't high-waisted. They are also a straight leg.

They work with hippy figures if you wear a fitted top or especially if you show a sliver of midriff. They're not very flattering on the butt though, since they're baggy.

I'm not eager to buy a pair. More faddish than my wallet allows for. Some trends are not very versatile and you can tell won't be around too long.

most "average" (read: fat) chicks look atrocious in them.
I guess that means only 10 women in the whole world have a right to wear 'boyfriend' jeans. Pure silliness, indeed. Thanks, fashion police!

I have a couple pairs, that I bought on a whim, but don't wear them often. They just look "sloppy" to me—reminding me of whenever I'd wear my brothers's old Riders and Wranglers as a kid in the summer. To each their own, I suppose.

Those were good pictures. I like the way Rhianna paired them with pumps.

As for me, I'll stick to skinny jeans as most styles tend to be too baggy for my frame.

Unless you don't On my way! a pair that will work For me jeans are a must with the recent fashion trend. I never hold on to older pairs. All I had in my closet was a skinny jean, not going to work!
