They're cut differently than regular jeans. They have a longer inseam (read: crotch) like men's pants. But since they are loose, they aren't high-waisted. They are also a straight leg.
They work with hippy figures if you wear a fitted top or especially if you show a sliver of midriff. They're not very flattering on the butt though, since they're baggy.
I'm not eager to buy a pair. More faddish than my wallet allows for. Some trends are not very versatile and you can tell won't be around too long.
ive got a couple pairs i bought from Old Navy. Havent worn them in awhile but i like them. They fit and feel just like any other pair of jeans ive ever had.
I have a couple pairs, that I bought on a whim, but don't wear them often. They just look "sloppy" to me—reminding me of whenever I'd wear my brothers's old Riders and Wranglers as a kid in the summer. To each their own, I suppose.
My point was that if you like/want 'boyfriend' jeans, all you've got to do is take a pair of jeans that you already own, that fit loosely, roll up the cuffs, and voilà : Boyfriend Jeans!
No need to buy the freakin' things.
Unless you don't On my way! a pair that will work For me jeans are a must with the recent fashion trend. I never hold on to older pairs. All I had in my closet was a skinny jean, not going to work!
