Need to update my look (colored, tone, light, red)

Depends on what you wish to convey with the updated look. For what purpose and which occassion - wiser, serious, simplicity, modern, nostalgic, romantic, girly? Your current style says flirty.

Regarding what's in, the latest fashion runway's theme is 'comfort.' To wear the shape right, consider your own body silhouette, including hair.

I'd start with bangs. My hair is about that long and I have bangs cut every couple of years. Not a heavy bang because I get bored with them and a wispy one grows out pretty quick.

I thought about black hair, maybe a dark dark brown. I'm just not sure I want to dye it though

Cut a few inches and flat iron straight. But that's a leap from "big hair"

Try side bangs and straighten your hair, part on the side. Are you tanning? If so I would stop doing that now, maybe it's just the picture but it looks like you either tan or bottle tan.

I would go to a stylist who specializes in curly cuts and one who can really bring out your curls. And add some highlights for something new, but not too different.

Thanks! Maybe I will try a new cut. I also want to maybe change the clothing style and makeup too
