In Asian, darker skin is somehow associated with being a field worker. Consequently, women like to appear as white as possible. Every store has so-called "skin whitening" creams on sale.
Yeah but they also have bronzers, blush, tanning oil, spray-on tans, etc. Many white people want to be darker and darker people want to be lighter. It's like a grass is always greener thing.
I am attracted to only light-skinned women but I believe this is only because I am dark-skinned. Opposites attract. As a man, I have an evolutionarily programmed instinct to sow my seed far and wide, and a woman who looks nothing like me represents the "far and wide" pretty well. Someone who shares a lot of physical features with me may well be my second cousin. Not that it's likely or logical, but that's how my subconscious, primal instinct sees it. I have little or no attraction to women of my own ethnicity, and it doesn't matter what culture they grew up in (i.e. it is purely a physical response).
I would think a white guy would be more attracted to Asian and dark skinned women, and this is often true.
I can agree with this as i'm light skinned and have always preferred chocolate women. In the past I've dated a couple light skinned/white girls but that something wasn't quite there. Once I went with more of the dark choco variety things clicked across the board. I can't wait until the summer starts so I can more skin and baby oil...lol
Personally I find dark skinned, dark haired women to much more exotic then fair skinned, light haired women. I am especially attracted to 25 to 40 year old black women but not big butt ones.
Pretty comes in all shades, but pop culture/mass media do not like to reflect this.
This^^^^ Three prime examples are Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, And JLo. I remember earlier in their careers when they seemed more natural and appealing. They're still beautiful in their own right but have fallen into that trap. Notice on all three how the hair/skin got lighter over time. Hollywood is ********.
I think there are many men who find dark skinned women beautiful, but many won't admit it because they are often bombarded with light skin as the standard for beauty.
If a woman is beautiful, it doesn't matter how light or dark she is... most men would be interested, period. lol
