Last night was in a T-shirt and boxers, as was the night before. I have a lot of blankets, as well as a space heater, but I only use that to put myself to sleep.
My main issue is that I have a tummy, which is considered unattractive and gross in young men. I want to get rid of my tummy fat entirely. The rest of my body is reasonably fit (except for my arms which seem a little weak & skinny). My legs look fine and are just the way I want them. I have changed my diet slightly, and my tummy fat has reduced thanks to recent workouts, but not by much (only by ~12%). Hoping to keep up my workouts and dieting practices to transform my body shape. Tummy fat is an embarrassing sight after I take my shirt off, which is why I avoid it.
Don't give up. It could be a slow gradual process that takes several years.
Back when I was a freshman/sophmore in college and actually shared a room, I slept in boxers. Also when I had a girlfriend sleep over when we hadn't done the giggity giggity yet. After the first time, though, back to sleeping in the buff.
Been going buff for something like 20 years. I'm a Taurus whose spirit roams the eastern WA/OR high deserts, especially mid-year. Thus, I usually sleep with flannel sheets and about 10 pounds of blanketry piled on the bed and the heater turned up as high as it will go, 365/6 days/year. If I wear anything to bed I'll start boilling like a lobster before long. Not comfortable.
Then again, I also wear hoodies and jeans in the middle of August and never get heatstroke....
With the long FL summers I'm usually shirtless with boxers on. Lately it's sweatpants and a t- shirt. If it stays under 40 for too long then the space heaters and electric blankets come out and I'll sleep in thermal underwear.
21.5 years old. Just don't have a rough manly build so other people hate seeing me without a shirt on. According to others, it looks disgusting, shabby, untidy, and should be avoided. Whatever works for them works for me. I don't want to be assumed as a ugly slob by those around me. By mistake, if I am caught in bed shirtless by some soul, it would be a freaky eyesore.
So get one. Instead of complaining why not change what you don't like about yourself? Oh, because it's easier to tell everyone else to conform to your outlandish BS? I see how it is.
