You might like Dale of Norway sweaters, sold online, in Scandinavian gift shops, and on eBay. Often, the cardigans are designed with pewter "clasps". Zip fronts are harder to find but not impossible. I've purchased a few nordic style sweaters on eBay and often you can get them at reasonable prices; do find out where the sweater was made if it matters to you--don't assume Scandinavia. Traditional nordic sweaters are heavier wool and *very* warm.
