Slightly crooked by far. You can bleach yellow teeth but it's going to be on going maintenance and could be a sign something else isn't quite right in your mouth. Yellow stands out and says look at me, I don't have good oral hygiene, whereas slightly crooked rarely anyone will even notice.

Also potentially a sign that you eat drink a lot of staining food/beverages, like tea, other high-tannin things. Not necessarily that there is a problem.
I know someone who had to take tetracycline as a kid. It severely yellowed her teeth. She's nice looking, but then she smiles. I believe it has held her back in life.
I'd choose the white teeth. I've tried all the whitening methods but due to lack of enamel, none worked. My teeth are very healthy---no issues at all--BUT they are stained and terrible looking, although relatively straight.
I am considering veneers but apprehensive about them. They are much cheaper here...
So would you rather have straight yellow teeth or slightly crooked white teeth(meaning 1 or 2 teeth out of alignment) and you can't straighten the white teeth and you can't whiten the straight yellow teeth. So which one would you choose?
Having yellow teeth is much worse than crooked ones. It just makes a person think that you have bad oral hygiene even if they grew in that way and your teeth are otherwise healthy.
There is a point though where they get so white that it's fake looking. If they shine under a blacklight, then you went overboard. Just use a whitening toothpaste.
