Russians in the US wear furs when there's a snowstorm. I've also seen American women in resort towns like Santa Fe and Aspen wear them. I bet there are people in NYC who wear them in winter. If not during the daytime, to the opera or other more formal occasions.
My sister lives in DE and has a full-length black mink. She wears it every day in the winter.
If you could own just one of these 3 furs , which would you choose and why?
what are your thoughts? if you could pick just one of the three which o u find the most glamorous and beautiful and youthful? keep in mind im relatively young(late 20's) an living in nyc!
Ps. No moral advice please. I love fur for the feel and warmth. Just opinions, thanks!
None of the above, I would prefer to put my money toward something practical and useful but in all honesty I have never been a fur fan and I don't even like the faux fur trim on the hood of winter coats.
Fur is beautiful on the animal it grows naturally on. Humans wearing fur all appear ugly to me because of the disgustingly cruel aspects of the fur trade...it's hard to see beauty when the wearer has such a disregard for the ugliness of its source.

You are correct. Esp when temps drop below about 40f out come the furs in NYC and Chicago. And just just among the elderly and "russians".
Personally I wouldn't wear a fur coat if I was a woman. I don't even own any leather products, anymore, although I eat meat so I can't really judge.
My mother loved the 1st (on bus)! so i think we have a winner as we could share it
