I'm looking for business heels and 90% of the ones I'm finding are like 4 inches+. Isn't that bizarre? Who would even be able to walk around in those things all day? And it does not look professional at all.

For example:

Max Mara 'Alceste' Platform Pump - Twist'n'scout-Paleari Online Store - farfetch.com

These aren't too bad. I have seen much worse.

Cole Haan still makes typical professional looking pumps though.

In fun colors even:
Chelsea Pointy High Pump - Women's Shoes: Colehaan.com

Shoes like these come in multiple heights. Medium to super high.

I'm only allowed to wear black, no open toes, 3 inches or less, so it kindof limits me a bit.

Why don't you just search on zappos? It lets you select color and heel height, among other things.

I was just going to suggest that as well.

There's also Nordstrom, 6pm, Piperlime, DSW.

There are lots who should not wear open toes. Gangly things hanging over gripping on for deal life. Then there are the 4 toes squeezed into an opening for two.

Black, 3" or less is classy. It isn't your shoes ladies, it is what they are on and what that is attached to that makes the look.

4" is the CMFM signal. No, I'm not going to spell it out, most know.
